In addition to all 8 seasons, the box set also comes with a miniature yearbook-style retrospective (complete with doodled-on 'paper' slipcover) that pretty much sums up the contents of the box and covers your main characters' timelines within the series.
The box set itself is designed to look like a 45RPM Singles Box, complete with metal buckles on the sides to keep it "locked" and a plastic strap on top. The box is cardboard but the sides are printed with nostalgic-looking textured paper, complete with cheezy "sticker art" highlights.

What is the WoW expansion, Cataclysm, release date? Are any stores such as Game Stop offering any kind of nifty goodies for those who pre-order, or are there going to be collectors editions with nifty special goodies?

Hello and thanks for your question!

I read a blog that Cataclysm is to be officially released to the public in October 2010. However for those who don't want to endure back orders you can pre-order via Gamestop for $40. I subscribe to the Gamestop electronic newsletter and right now they have $20 off orders of $99 or more of in stock items....That's not to say between now and October something fine won't show up and signing up for their newsletter gives you exclusive deals and the ability to get to the goods first. Not to mention it's also available for in store pick-up. (I wonder if they would take off some of the price if you traded in games...?)

As far as a collector's edition goes there will be one. I read on one WoW forum that these editions come out 3-4 months before the actual release date and they sale out FAST. So that means between this month and next this prized possession is suppose to be showing up. Another person said it doesn't come out until the release date of the release date of the original item. Elsewhere on the waves there is talk but no one knows yet when the CE will be hanging around.
