Is there such a thing as environmentally safe hairspray? I worry everytime I breathe in those harsh chemicals but I'd be lost without it as my hair needs it.

Where can I buy a laptop stand? I want one without fans. I just want something that will allow air flow underneath my laptop to keep it from over heating.

Laptops over heating can be a really big problem. I even read for guys it can be a problem when it comes to sterility....So wanting a cooling system is the right move to make. The fans are a pain as well because they can shortage and even use up battery life quicker when you're not on the charger.

You want to choose a laptop cooling pad (system) dependent on where the fans under your computer are: left, right, center, or a combination of two. This is why most electronic pads are useless because the fans are located in a place that doesn't allow for efficient cooling of the computer. Talk about wasting money!

I found three different stands (or semi-stand plus a wannabe stand) that you may be interested in. The first is the Kensington a tranditional looking stand with the center missing. This is best for centrally oriented fans on laptops. It's great for laps and is adjustable. It's portable and lightweight so it should fit in your laptop bag easily as well.

The Targus definitely raised an eyebrow. There is no doubt that it is portable and can fit laptops up to 17". The only downsides I could see is that I am not sure how adjustable the height is and the orientation of the laptop is not adjustable. It may not be great for laps either.

The last are the Cool Ball Stands. I raised both eyebrows on this one. It lifts the computer for all around cooling (just like the Targus) and has a great low price. I like the Cool balls because besides the low price they have free shipping AND a 30-day money back guarantee so if you don't like it, ship it back. It comes with cooling pad and balls (I think the pad is attached to the bottom to precent sliding). It'll be interesting to try.

I recommend trying out the Cool Ball system first because you can send them back. If you don't like these then the Kensington is the way to go for it's versatility, and price.
