Guitar Hero would be tons of fun for you and your little one. But I would caution you that some of the lyrics on the songs in the software may be a bit suggestive for a five year old. These are hard rocking songs with some of the biggest names in heavy metal.

The guitar itself though is super easy to learn. I picked it up and was able to figure it out very quickly and I have never used a guitar before. Fun and a great way to improve dexterity and just have a great bonding experience.

They have some really great roller skates for young children. My three and a half year old daughter has been looking at them as well. So here are some great selections for your son:
Joes has a great Bravo Diego set that includes not only the skates but knee and elbow pads.
Riedell Skate buys has a great set of high top roller skate that come in two sizes Small (10-13) and Large (1-3). They are adjustable, great for beginners, and can be used for a while.
Dunham's Sports has a great idea which is the ability to turn any shoe into a pair of roller skates. They have dual cushion pads prevent a loose fit and are adjustable by the velcro straps.

Be sure to have all safety gear such as helmet, knee, and elbow pads.

There are a few keyboards with large keypads and I have added links for you to see them. The first one is actually advertised for senior citizens but could definitely help children also. The Large Print Keyboard + Free Skin (colors include yellow with black print, black with white print or ivory with black print). It also features a USB to PS/2 adaptor, an enhanced 104-key layout and internet keys for one touch internet and email. There is also one that is the wireless keyboard and mouse which features the same things but is wireless.

Here are a few that I found. I would suggest buying bottled water depending on where you live. Some of the wells are really bad in various parts of the country. First go to the city and pull some water records so you can see what elements are in high concentration in your area. Second, decide if a filter will help at all. I would also suggest re-piping your house in case the copper lines have corroded over the years. That may cost you about 3k.

Now if you still want a filter, here are some good cheap ones that may clean some toxins but not all.
