Plasma HDTVs are the only HDTVs that are susceptible to "Burn In" Not all do it, but most will. Some plasma TVs have a technology built in called pixel shift. This technology shifts the pixels from time to time to keep burn-in from happening. Long story short stay away from plasma type HDTVs for gaming.

You need to look and LCD and LED type HDTVs. There is absolutely NO Burn In with these types of HDTVs. These screens are very similar to a laptop screen only bigger and better. As you may know there is no burn in with those types of screens. Consider Toshiba and Samsung. You should be able to find a very nice HDTV to fit your needs and your budget.

For home defense you have a few choices. They come down to Rifles, shotguns, handguns, autoloading pistols, and revolvers. Having used all of them myself for different things (hunting and defense) I feel it may be best to give you an option from each and let you decide from there. All of the options I'm giving you are for home defense options.

If a rifle is the only available firearm, a relatively low powered, carbine length weapon is probably the best choice for home defense. A Winchester or Marlin lever action carbine chambered for a pistol cartridge (.357 Magnum, .44 Magnum) would fill the bill, as would a military surplus M1 Carbine. These would also be satisfactory choices to defend a neighborhood during a riot or other civil insurrection. Use bullets designed for quick expansion.

Shotguns, particularly the short barreled type familiarly known as "riot guns," can be quite effective. These generally come with 18"-20" barrels. They are extremely intimidating to an intruder. No sane person wants to argue with a shotgun. Stay away from the 28 and 410. They just don't pack enough punch.

A handgun is handy indoors and can be conveniently concealed almost anywhere in the home, ready for use. It is the easiest of all guns to retain in a hand to hand struggle. It can be fired from either hand in an emergency situation. (This is especially true of revolvers). Centerfire pistols and revolvers from approximately 9mm/.38 caliber on up, assuming appropriate ammunition is chosen, offer good stopping power for indoor home defense without the extreme risk of over penetration of a deer rifle or shotgun stuffed with slugs. They are much less likely to severely damage the home you are trying to protect than a shotgun. For all of these reasons handguns are the first choice of the majority of experts for home defense. If you go with this option go with a service gun. They are the best choice.

Modern examples of service style autoloaders include the Beretta M92 series, Ruger P series, SIG P229 and P239, and the Full-Size and Compact Glock pistols. All of these are double action or safe action pistols that can be safely stored with the chamber loaded and the safety (if present) off. If the whistle blows it is not necessary to manually cycle the action or manipulate a safety, just pull the trigger and the gun will fire.

The all-around best choice among firearms for home defense is the double action (DA) revolver. These are the typical "police" style revolvers, such as the Colt Python, Ruger GP100, or the Smith and Wesson Model 10 Military and Police.

Being comfortable in your bed is a must! I have been thinking of buying a pillow bed topper lately as well. If you are comfortable you will sleep so much better! I think the pillow top covers are really nice and some are so soft!

The Pike Street Pad has gotten great reviews. Many say it is very soft and about 1.5 inches high. It is available in many sizes, the Queen size cost $45.03 and the king $59.99. It is a plush material.

There is generally a trade-off between portability and power in laptops. The more lightweight a PC is, generally the less power and features it has. This is obviously due to space considerations. Battery life is also a concern if you are on the go often. Since you mutli-task a lot you will want to make sure the computer you buy has a dual-core processor (basically this is like having two processors instead of one) and plenty of RAM (memory). The best "on the go" laptops in the market right now in my opinion are the MacBooks but as they start around $1000 they are probably out of your price range.

The best balance between portability, power, and price I can find for you is the Toshiba Satellite L515-S4960. This is one of the new models that comes with Windows 7. This computer has a 14" screen and is a little beefier than a Netbook or Ultra-portable but weights just over 5 pounds. It comes with a Pentium dual-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It also has a built-in flash card reader, Wi-Fi, and DVD Super Multi drive. Battery life is not as impressive as what you will get with the MacBooks, so buying an additional battery may be a good idea if you are often in locations you can't plug in at. Price is $550 at Newegg.

I recently purchased the Fire King International Light Personal Safe. Here's my quick review;

1. The walls are about the same thickness as a quarter panel on an old chevy.
2. The door is heavy because it has two layers of this sheetmetal--a hollow space between them for the lock equipment. .
3. Seems solid.
4. The lock bolts that actually hold the door closed are pretty impressive for such a small cheap unit.
six. Is not fire or water proof--but I still like it a lot.

All in all, I think this is the best bang per buck buy and, for the price, I recommend this as a place to store that 'extra gun', extra emergency money...maybe the keys and codes to your outside door lock--that kind of thing.

After a quick look, I don't think your could have busted into the walls of the safe with a sledge hammer very soon. A drill would do nicely and a 'hole cutter', but I don't think many criminals carry such things.

So there it is, if you got a use for such a security devices, and not a lot of money...(and your not keeping the HOPE Diamond there)...this will do just fine until you get rich and buy a bank vault.

Here are a variety of coffees that I highly recommend. These are my favorite coffees and they taste so good.

Starbucks make very good tasting coffee. I buy there bag of coffee all the time and make it at home. My sister and I love their coffees. Not only is it great tasting coffee it's very smooth.

If you enjoy flavoring coffee I highly recommend Gevalia coffee. The first time I had their flavor cinnamon coffee I was in heaven. Smooth and delicious. The French vanilla is very good too.

Gevalia Cinnamon blends the exotic flavors of natural cinnamon with a dash of clove to create a subtle, spicy treat.

I also recommend Cracker Barrel coffee. Another smooth and very good tasting coffee.

I recommend Lexol and heres a tip for you:

Spray the top of the seats with the Lexol cleaner. You will only need two or three squirts. You will want to clean the leather seats in sections to allow you to make sure it is cleaned properly.

The only thing for sure about the Storm 2 is that Verizon is pushing it as a low cost alternative to the Droid. Now with that said there aren't many wonderful reviews surronding the Storm 2. For one the phone isn't in a reviewable stage as of yet. Verizon is keeping it tightly hushed up. This is being said to be related to the total disaster that the first Storm was. Simply based on the reviews out there now many people are shying away from the Storm 2 because of the line's history of shotty performance. The Droid looks like the better overall deal for now especially with it being set to be the full iPhone rival!

I can't attach any images of the phone because the Motorola main Droid site has been taken down and the phone has not yet been released.
