Smart phones are a great way to organize your life . Even though I personally don't have one, I can see why a blackberry, palm pre, or iphone would be of great use. Everyone is busy nowadays and with such hectic schedules and rushing around place to place who wouldn't want to keep everything organized and make sure they don't forget anything? Unfortunately the only phone could be possibly classified as a smart phone is a contract phone by Virgin Mobile known as the Ocean made by Helio

 Pantech_PN_810_Helio_Ocean_ ...

 Pantech PN-810 Helio Ocean

. This phone doesn't come with a cable to sync with your computer but will allow you to get mail from work with a program called "Mail for Microsoft Exchange" which will allow you to wireless synchronize with Microsoft outlook e-mail, calendars, and contacts. The prepaid phones do not have any smart phone features and are just for social use.

However if you truly are interested in having a smart phone I would suggest either Sprint or AT&T. Sprint has cheaper price plans for $99 you can get the Simply Everything Plan which includes unlimited airtime, data, and messaging.
Which is essential when they have phones like the Palm Pre that automatically surfs the internet on your phone downloading all your contacts numbers, instant messenger screen names, and e-mail addresses and is readily available just by browsing your contacts. The Pre is well-known for it multi-functionality being to switch easily and seamlessly between different applications using cards. In addition both AT&T and Sprint have blackberry's, even Verizon Wireless has blackberry's. Which are well known and pretty popular and favored by a lot of people as the pda/organizer/phone.

AT&T also has the ever popular iPhone which doubles back as an iPod too with either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory to choose from. The iPhone features applications that can be downloaded directly onto the phone and can range anywhere from translation programs to ordering pizza or even help with work related software like reading pdf files. It is the most popular phone out on the market and it offers synchronization with apple computers and probably a program that allows for synching of windows programs as well.
