I am an elementary teacher and I AM GLAD YOU ASKED!!!! The answer to you question depends on the age of your child and how much your child already knows. Here are several resources I absolutely love for kids. They are readily available at Wal-Mart, Target, and most bookstores. Don't forget to check out Half Price Books for bargains on DVD's as well. It is my experience that children that are read to turn out to be lifelong readers. There is no magical one certain way to teach reading, so feel free to mix it up.

I really love the new Sony HDTV models. Each have great features, and have a variety of sizes to suit the size of the room that you will be watching tv. I've written a couple of articles about the Sony HDTV's and have found that they range in size. But also Sony is a brand name that you can trust and it's been around forever.
The prices range according to the size you buy, and remember you are paying for the newest technology on the market today, so yes it can be pricey. Right now during the holiday season they are on sale everywhere and probably will be until after the Christmas holiday.

I personally own a Sony TV, it's an older model but it is still as great as the day I got it. I have not have one moment of trouble with it at all. They have a great warrranty, and they guarantee their products. So you are protected in that way. The next television I buy will be a Sony because I have not had to replace anything on it. I beleive the quality is one of the best.
If you decide to buy a Sony, I really think you will be please with everything about it.

About how much will I pay for a good snow blower that is light weight?

A light weight snow blower will generally be electric. You can expect a quality electric snow blower to be around $300. This is just a figure to go by, you may be able to find one for less if you find a good sale. Your local stores will probably have their snow blowers on sale in the spring, but if you need one for this winter I don't imagine waiting is an option.

The Toro 1800 Power Curve is a good example of a quality electric snow blower and is $299 at the Home Depot. This snow blower have gotten postive feedback from reviewers. Some drawbacks to this, and any electric snow blower is the fact that you will have to remain tethered with a power cord and electric snow blowers have difficulty in heavy snow.

One is from Ebay that you can get some. They are 200 thread count and you can get them in many different colors.

I also found a Mr and Mrs Claus Miles Kimball figurine that plays music. Ace Hardware offers a really cute animated santa and sleigh but again no mrs. claus! YUM! There is nothing quite like home made chocolates. I love to cook and bake, so I definitely understand the importance of good quality kitchen gadgets and tools.
I think the best choice is a good sized marble cutting board. Marble is the ultimate pastry or chocolate making surface. It is perfectly smooth, it never absorbs fat or moisture, and is always cool and dry. Many bakers chill the marble board by sliding it into the refrigerator or freezer before rolling a finicky dough like puff pastry, and then put the slab and the pastry back in the fridge the instant the dough softens. The marble will always be ready for its next roll out if you just wipe it down with a damp cloth.
I have found several great marble boards for you to choose from. The prices vary depending on size of the board. My favorite is the White Marble Pastry and Cutting board, for $100.00, simply because it is biggest board that I was able to find, and will give the most room to work. Enjoy those chocolates!

Any camera will stream live. Any webcamera that is. The problem is not in the streaming but in the taking it to different places and streaming. What you will need is a laptop and a good WIFI signal if you really want to stream from someplace other than home. The camera can't just stream without being hooked up to the computer and without an internet connection. So laptop, camera (hooked to laptop with usb), and internet connection that is strong enough to hold a steady streaming of live video.

I have a really old one from my grandmother that is great to look at but too difficult to use. (I can work faster with regular needles than setting that one up) I am amazed that she made all kinds of things on it!

The machines have really come a long way since then! The Ultimate Bond Knitting machine looks like a fun one to use. It weighs just over 10 pounds and there's even a You-Tube video on the Bond home page, demonstrating how it works. I also found a refurbished model that is $30 cheaper. If your 10 year old really enjoys the Bond machine there are others that can do more, but they also cost quite a bit more. This is a great one to get started on.

Walmart carries a pink desk that require no assembly. It's pink and white with lots of nooks and crannies. The one that Target carries is more modern and on wheels. It has the feel of a mobile computer work station.

If your budget is a bit larger, check out Furniture Crate or US Mattress and look at the Pink Taffy Seaside Dreams from Lea. It is absolutely lovely and totally pink! (Lea Industries is a La-Z-Boy Incorporated company, a leading manufacturer of moderately-priced youth furniture.) Both stores have free shipping and are highly rated by customers. WOW! If I was a kid, I would adore this go-kart!
Not your grandfather's go-kart, this Ground Force electric powered go-kart by Razor offers whisper-quiet operation at speeds up to 12 mph. Most reviewers loved the cart, especially that it was not too fast and not too slow.
The only con I saw was that the rear wheels wore out after 3 months and you have to contact Razor directly for replacements.

I absolutely love the American Girl series. I live near a store and love taking my nieces for tea parties with their dolls. Rebecca Rubin is one of the newest dolls AG has added and to complement her story they write how Rebecca finds these two baby kittens in the basement of her apartment building. They’re both soft and furry, with plush, huggable bodies. Right now, they are sold on the American Girl website.
