This is a very nice shoe stand. If you are using it for men or teenage boys, you can NOT put 3 pairs of shoes across. They should have made it about 2 inches wider. It is very sturdy and look very nice. I was just dissappointed that it wouldn't hold 3 pairs of shoes across.
