With a family plan does it make a cell phone cheaper or more expensive?

A family cell phone plan is definitely cheaper than having individual accounts/lines. My husband I just recently switched to a family plan and are saving about $60 a month.

If T-Mobile is available where you are, they have a fantastic Family Plan. You can get 2500 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited calls to your faves for $89.99. If you are looking for less minutes, they have a similar plan with 400 minutes for $69.99.

Verizon offers a Family Share Plan of 1400 anytime minutes plus unlimited calling to 10 friends and family for $89.99. For unlimited minutes (for the family that talks A LOT) it is only $199.98 per month.

If you have AT&T available to you, you should definitely look into their family plans. They offer 700 shared minutes for $69.99 for one line and $9.99 for each additional line. That includes Rollover Minutes, Unlimited Nights and Weekends and Unlimited Mobile to Mobile.

Whichever company you choose, you are certain to save some money by going with a family plan.
