I am looking for a new wireless service provider since my current service provider is going out of business in October. I am currently looking at the Motorola W259 from CC - but I am wondering if this phone is easy to use. My current phone is very simple and basic and I love it. How would I find other people who have used the Motorola W259 who have written reviews about their experience?

We just signed up with CC and so far it is what they claim. W259 phone is a real basic phone, good battery life.
Very small flip phone with a IPOD design....it may be a issue with large hands using the keyboard. I was impressed with it for a inexpensive no frills phone. It has a couple games and some other nice features, we are not using, because we got it for my inlaws for a emergency phone, but it looks like they are not going to be so independant with the sudden failing health. We will use it for a back up phone. (only) This phone would be a good basic phone. It you want toys, this ain't it.....as

I assume by CC you mean Consumer Cellular? I've taken a look at the Motorola W259 on there and it does appear easy to use, and a great deal like a Motorola phone I had a while back. There are no bells and whistles with this phone, such as a camera, but there is a lot of memory for all of your phone numbers, a speaker phone if you need it and you'll be able to send text messages.I had a phone very similar to this, and I used it for nearly two years. It's free after rebate, which will make it more attractive for you, I'm sure, and the battery capability is nine hours.
I've looked everywhere for reviews on this phone, as I am sure you have, and I just haven't been able to track any down. I'm sure that is because this is such a basic, easy to use phone, and it costs so little, there just haven't been any complaints about it.
I have found a list that compares this phone with other similar models on CC, and it has its good points and bad. The battery life is great, and since there are not a lot of features such as a camera, it seems like what it is, a good, simple, easy phone.
The one difficulty you may have is that your current phone might be bigger. I know my father held on to his older phone for some time because the buttons were bigger and it was easier than the small new ones. This phone is rather small, which may or may not be an issue.
I think for the price (free) and the simpleness of use, you can't go wrong with it.
