ASUS Eee PC R101D-EU17-BK Netbook - Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz, 1GB DDR3, 250GB HDD, 10.1" WSVGA, Windows 7 Starter 32-bit, Black Price: $259.99
I personally own both an Acer laptop and an Asus netbook and both have served me well for writing and basic internet usage. Nothing beats a netbook when it comes to connecting to the Internet and there’s a better option in the ASUS Eee PC R101D-EU17-BK Netbook. You will enjoy logging on to the Internet with this netbook. With its light weight and sleek design, its 10.1” screen is ample enough to display all the sites you need to visit regularly without having to squint or burden your eyesight. This notebook uses the Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor mated to a 1GB DDR3 memory which are ample for logging on to the Internet. And when you need it for other purposes like storing files or doing some small work, you have the 250GB hard drive that spins at 5400 rpm so you can access your data faster. With its Intel UMA graphics, viewing videos on this netbook is admirably pleasant.
