I am sorry, but the answer is no, you can't play Xbox 360 games on a Standard Xbox. If you put a Xbox 360 game into a standard Xbox. An image on the screen will tell you that it is a Xbox 360 game and will only work in a Xbox 360 console. Because, it won't be able to read it so it would just sit in the xbox.
