Whichs the difference between an extended phone battery and a normal battery? Is it because the extended ones are cheaper?

The difference between the extended phone battery and the normal battery is the extended battery is supposed to give you a little more talk time when used. On average they give you 10-15% more battery life. In many cases because the battery is a little thicker than the normal battery, you also have to purchase a new back for the phone to accomodate the size of the battery. They are inexpensive as well.
