Which TV is better Sony or Samsung. I'm interested in 46"

For a 46 inch HDTV look at the Samsung line. Their 46inch televisions consistently land in the top 5 of every category. The Samsung PN50B650 taking second to Panasonic for Plasma and given “excellent” ratings by experts and customers alike.
In 4th place over all television types is the Samsung LN52B750. This one is getting the review as “best conventional LCD.” Again, Panasonic beat it out for picture quality only. And if you can find one less than $2000 (don't worry I found one for ya'), Samsung UN 46B7000 LED LCD has an excellent rating, with sticker shock being the biggest drawback.

Hi there Carroll. Allow me to assist you in purchasing the right TV. I love TV, and if you have a bad TV, watching is just not the same. Now are you interested in a LCD or Plasma? If you get a 46 LCD, I storngly suggest a Samsung. Samsung is one of the top rated LCD screen TV's. Now for Plasmas, I would suggest a Sony. Sony is a great company, and I actually owned a Sony Plasma for years until I sold it for a larger one (I got a Samsung LCD).
- Now, LCD's are better than Plasmas. I suggest the Samsung 46 inch, and buy it at either Best Buy or Sears. Sears is actually really great at customer service and warranties, but Best Buy always matches prices. Good luck to you!
