The Cusininart vs. Kitchenaid Mixer debate seems to be a hot one!  There are some lines drawn in the sand with passionate people on either side.  Rather than make the decision for you, I'm going to provide some links to discussions that have taken place in this very issue:

It's like the "PC vs. Mac" issue, so there is plenty of information in the above threads to give you some things to ponder.  I'm also going to post some links below for each mixer in an effort to make your decision a bit easier.  Have fun!

Kitchen aid is better because even though you might pay a lot of money for it, it pays off in the long run because of all the cool things that you can do with it to make more creative and healthy meals. You are saving money in the long run because if you have bread, you can make breadcrumbs rather than throw the bread away. You can make your own home seasonings. Kitchenaid mixers can do a wide variety of tasks with the different attachments that you can connect to it. I love Kitchenaid a great deal

I thought the best way to decide which mixer is better, to share the reviews with you! I would choose the kitchenaid, you ask why?… keep reading and you'll know!

The Cuisinart CHM-3 looks to be a goodbasic hand mixer according to professional reviews and users, and itgets much better scores than the cheaper Hamilton Beach Power Deluxe62695 (*est. $20). The CHM-3 has just three speeds, but most say youdon't really need more. However, we did find one owner who notes thatthe Cuisinart's low speed is a bit too powerful. Overall, the CHM-3looks like the best bet in a basic hand mixer. The similar CuisinartCHM-7 (*est. $50) gets better reviews overall, but it costs more and isharder to find in stores. The Cuisinart CHM-3 hand mixer's mostringing endorsement comes from the Good Housekeeping ResearchInstitute, where it's judged best of eight competing hand mixers. Welooked for testing at Consumer Reports or Cook's Illustrated that mightcorroborate these results, but neither publication has tested thisparticular Cuisinart hand mixer (although both have tested the similarseven-speed Cuisinart CHM-7). We did find a good range of owner-writtenreviews at http://www.Amazon.com, and a few more at http://www.Cooking.com. class="rounded-frame">
