Which is the best washing machine? Would prefer a stacking front load set

Maytag, Whirlpool or Amana make good machines in various price ranges. Look into the possible mold issue with a front loader. There are different things you can do to reduce/ prevent mold. Wipe under the door gasket when you are done. If possible leave the door open. There are also products such as Affresh which cleans out the machine. If you live in an area with high humidity or want to put this in a bathroom you may want to consider a top loader instead. There are now top loaders that are as energy efficient as front loaders, if you have the space for them.
