Hi!
This is a common problem that many people are trying to fix! Luckily thanks to others reported results, you may have a few options for finding a web cam that is compatible with Mac Pro!
First, you can try a Fire Wire web-cam, like an external iSight (some do use the internal iSight, but not enough reviews to make me trust it). The reviews are mixed, but it may work. I have added a few for you to chose from.
Secondly, I suggest if you have less than 2.0 USB jacks, you'll need a camera that is made specifically for the lesser, older Pro models like the Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision, Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro.
Third, the Fire-i Digital Camera, like Unibraincts section) is a generally reliable camera for older Pro models and does not need the 2.0 USB Ports.
I believe one of these will get you up and running in no time! Â
