Where can I find a good buy on aluminum folding/lawn chairs?

http://www.lawnchairusa.com has a good selection of well made old style folding aluminum lawn chairs with nylon webbing.  The chairs are new, made in USA, and well priced at around $30 or less.  The shipping fee was high in my opinion.  I paid $53 shipping for 4 chairs.

Great for using at home or taking with you when you go out to outdoor events, there are  a few places you can find some nice lawn chairs.

Meijer has a 3 position lawn chair for $19.99. They are green and can be carried anywhere!









They also have a Deluxe Chair that looks pretty comfortable for just $15.99.










Amazon has a great deal on a folding char for just $12.77. Also, although they aren't lawn chairs, Walmart has steel folding chairs for just $59.96 for a set of 4 (thatis just $14.99 per chair!) The come in other colors too. Lowes has nice sand chairs for just $10.00.

Oh..one more thing. Waltrich in southeast Georgia has resumed manufacturing the old school webbed chairs and is now selling them on Ebay. their Ebay user name is, waltrichplastic. They have two types...a high back with built-in cup holders on the handles, and a classic low back model. The high back is $29 and the low is $23.

I believe they are no longer made, but can be had at yard sales, thrift shops and of course, Ebay. The newer versions of these sometimes use aluminum in their contruction, but augment that with wood, plastic and other such products. AS TSC shopper stated, there is the 'low" version of the modern chair, the "Beach Bum"...I have a couple and these and are great for soaking up the sun and people watching on the sand. But I know what you want, and I dont blame you. I really dont like the modern version myself, I like the 60s design, which is, like a 64 Mustang, a classic. One problem is the frame might be rusted, or the webbing might be worn. You'll find many dealers of webbing on Ebay and elsewhere, and the chairs are not too hard to restore, just get one whose frame is in good condition. Repairs are inexpensive. Make sure you match up the webbing width, and of course the right type of webbing as well. Here is a site where this is discussed...

Just keep your eyes open. Lasy year in one weekend I remember, and in just a few yard sales in Eagle Rock and South Pasadena, I came across about a dozen great looking specimens. Of course you can always but new ones, they are sturdy, and shiney and new, and they are going to cost you around $50, but I like the originals. Oh...try and buy them at sporting goods store when they have a sale, they discount them considerably. Also WalMart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, and believe it not...Big Lots carrys them from time to time at huge discounts.

Aluminum folding chairs brings back memories of the webbed lawn chair.  I just had to find you one and I did.  They have better, lighter and more stable designs these days, so I've shown you a couple of those as well. 
The Coleman deck chair is great for camping, park or beach.  Chair has sewn-in carry straps for easy transport.  Chair folds for easy storage. It is getting to be the time of the year for picnics and watching baseball or soccer games. I have found a nice Rio Deluxe Web lawn chair. It has nice neutral colors.

Another option I found s a solid fabric folding chair. It is currently on sale until May 1st (today). This 'Elite' steel frame chair is designed for comfort by eliminating the cross bar that typically goes across the front of most folding chairs.
