What's a Good cheaper Tablet PC that has an Onscreen Keyboard for note taking?

Hi and thanks for your question.
The definition of a tablet PC is still up in the air but is quickly being defined as technolgy continues to evolve. A website that really helps me when considering what devices are considered tablets is Tablet PC Review.
For example the Asus Eee T91 is a tablet PC by definition though its size is more like that of a netbook rather than a consumer sized laptop. And very much like some netbooks it has small hard drive space but it makes up for it with online storage available up to 500GB. However, reviews of performance of this device have been mixed (though none of them have been exceptionally stellar).
So my question is are you looking for a tablet PC that allows you to "write" on your screen? You mention "note taking" and you want to be able to comfortably carry the laptop from class to class is a known fact. To answer your question I turned to Laptop Mag who recently put out an article that addresses your dilemma.
Of all these I recommend the HP DM4t because of it's price and reliability. Even though the battery life isn't as great as some of the others on the market you'll be able to customize your PC and should be able to opt for a better battery and still come out cheaper than purchasing one of the other tablet PCs mentioned in the article.
If you weren't looking for these type of tablets then let me know. Also, as a note, you can access your on-screen keyboard via the Accessories in Programs on your computer. I have Vista and that is where I can find it (the same place as a folder called Tablet PC but my computer is by no means a tablet; it refers to external writing devices that one may use).

One great deal for you to look at is a compaq. This notebook is smaller and has a full keyboard. It also has exceedingly powerful capabiliites. The screen is 14". Â
Another one to look at is the Mini Notebook. This one has a screen of 10.1". This little notebook weighs less then 3 pounds so would be easy to carry around in a small purse and keep great notes.Â
One last good one to take a look at is the Mini Dell Inspiron. This is a great little computer and you must check out the cover on it! The screen on this one is 10.1" so would be easy to carry around.
