What kind of RADIO- controlled car would be good for a 2.5 year old boy?

Chicco has this super basic remote control called Child's First Remote Control Car...very creative, eh? But it looks good. http://www.Amazon.com has it for $22, which is really good for a RC car. Read the reviews over there to figure out if it's what you want.

Under the similarly creative name My First RC Car, there's another, similar toy but a little more expensive. It looks like this one has won some awards.

There's a bunch of these brighty colored RC cars out there - firetrucks, police cars, etc. This one is particularly cute.

The next step up would be these guys - Morphibians - a little more sophiscated as your kid's fine motor skills develop :)

My oldest son loved his first radio controlled car and actually still loves playing with them at 7, we have just moved up to bigger better ones!   Amazon has a very cute one that you might like for you little one.  It is a Child's First Remote Car.  Very bright and moves in four different directions.  Another one I would take a look at is the Johnny Coupe by CARS.  This one is very cute and most kids love the CARS movie.   I also found a My first fire truck that is so adorable.
