Like many women out there, I also suffer from extremely dry and damaged hair. During the winter months, it gets curly and frizzy and absolutely untamable. I've tried every shampoo out there, from the expensive salon brands to Redken and Biolage, and even the super-inexpensive Alberto V05. Nothing helped.

A few months ago, I picked up Garnier's Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner. It was less than $7 for both, and I'm absolutely amazed by the results. My breakage has reduced, and the knots and tangles are all but gone.

For best results, I alternate between the Triple Nutrition and my normal shampoo (Herbal Essences), because I find my hair gets heavy and weighted down and flat if I do not. I also only wash once every two days, and avoid blowdrying. I was already using Garnier's mousse and hairspray for styling. G

I was so impressed by this product, and my hair has never looked better. I've been recommending to everyone with dry, damaged, coloured, or "big" hair issues.

Good luck!

Aussie Moist shampoo and 3-min miracle works great for dry hair. My hair was damaged, and I used Aphogee shampoo for damaged hair, and it worked. It can be found in Sally's beauty supply.

I have suffered from dry damaged hair for about the last 20 years.  I have tried a lot of products and learned that this worked just by fluke even my hairdresser was impressed, she thought I started going somewhere else to get my hair conditioned.  It was Clariol Nice n Easy Intensive Treatment and Color Seal.  After I got the nice smooth hair I started using Purology Shampoo and Conditioner, they are a little more expensive, but they are usually on discount at JcPenney.
