This is the perfect time of year to purchase a Blu Ray player. Stores like Sams Club, Costco, Walmart, Target, etc. all have Blu Ray players and DVDs for far less than the prices we were seeing upon release. Of course, my dad won a blue ray in a raffle from his business (he was thrilled). At the time (1.5 yrs ago) they were worth around $350, but now you go to Sam's Club, Walmart you can find them for $200 or even less! :] Blue ray edition DVDs are slightly more expensive though, but it's worth it when you view the majestic vibrant colors before you on your plasma screen! ;) Best of Luck!
