For a great business laptop you should look at the Dell Models. You can build your own Dell to include features that you may need specifically for an accounting company! I suggest starting by looking at the Vostro models they offer. Prices start in the $650s and go up from there. Dell is also the recommended choice of Rutgers Business School above others.
Starting a business is expensive enough without the computers, so if you'd like to save a little money until you're up and running then perhaps HP would be a better way to go. I really think the HP Compaq dc7900 Ultra-Slim series might be a wallet friendly choice. Starting at only $779 with 5 star ratings, this energy star computer could be the right option for a tight budget. But hey, you're the accountant, you know how to work money..right? : )
Honestly either of these would work nicely for you. And whichever you get don't forget to add the latest Microsoft Office version and even the Microsoft Office Accounting Professional to your computer.
I hope this helps!
