What brand do you recommend in a game machine to play - xbox360 and ps3?

I recommend the ps3. I feel that the ps3 has really great games for all ages! Also the ps3 has things the xbox 360 doesn't for example the ps3 is able to connect to the internet using wifi you hae to purchase the adapter for the xbox 360. Example 2 you have to pay a membership to play online against people on the xbox 360 its free on the Ps3. But its best to try the systems out for yourself to see which one you feel more comfortable with. I have both systems but I play my PS3 way more then i play my Xbox 360.

It really depends on the type of person you are. Some people prefer the 360 and some people prefer the PS3. In my house we are Xbox 360 people (My husband and I have each have our own Xbox 360). We had a PS3 for about 6 months and all it really was was a glorified DVD player. We traded our PS3 for a Xbox 360 elite.

I find that the xbox 360 has more of the games that I like to play.

Personally, I would go with the Ps3.  There are too many add on's and issues and problems that I find with the Xbox 360!  Buy   .com has a system selling for $359.99
