I am looking to buy a new washer and dryer. What do you recomend?

Thanks for stopping by imshopping with your question. Plenty of pictures have already been displayed so I'll spare you from more pictures. Honestly speaking it all depends on your budget. There are some very high end priced washers & dryers. Then ofcourse, there's always the middle of the road and at the end (low) of the road. Right now every store is begging for shoppers that will turn into buyers. Shop around before making a decision it will give you a feel for what's out there. The washer/dryer market is loaded with new models. Top loaders, front loaders, red ones, silver ones, whites ones and so on. while you're out at Lowe's and Homedepot ask a salesperson if what you like is a 2009 model or a 2010 model. This is a bargaining tool if it's a 2009 model. Ask for the manager and ask for the best bottom dollar price he/she can give you. Then, if you happen to be paying cash ahhh another bargaining chip. Now, to a brand I highly suggest you look at are the GE Profile models. They are excellent machines and pretty too. Just remember you have to like it no one else does. Dn't rush into a decision take your time and make you happy. Best of Luck!

It all depends on your budget as to which washer and dryer models you should purchase. 

The top of the line would be the front loading  I would suggest the Bosch WAS24460UC Front Load Washer and matching dryer.  The washing and dryer will cost approximately $2500-$3000.  They are pricey but very good dependable machines and will last you for many years.

A middle of the road washer and dryer LG and Samsung make very good appliances for this price range.  I would suggest:   LG WM2301H Front Load Washer and matching dryer - these run about $1500 for the pair or the Samsung

It is definitely a big decision and matter of preference - I would suggest going to Lowes and looking at each of these models to see which feel right for you.  You can't go wrong with any of the above models.

Hi there.  After doing research for the new washer and dryer, I would choose the ones that are rated number one by consumer research.  Please take a look at the ones that are recommended.  Let me start with the washers.

The Samsung WF218ANW has 4.0 Cu. Ft. capacity. It has 10 cycles to wash.  It is highly effcient.  It has the best washing performance out of all other washers out there.  It also has large capacity.

The Frigidaire Gallery has the next washer.  It is the best washer for the price.  It is energy star certified.  It has a very fast spin cycle. 

The Samsung WF448AAW is the third rated washer.  It has 4.0 Cu. Ft. 10-Cycle Washer.  There is a steam cycle.  Extra-large capacity too.  It has a very good washing performance.  It is one of the quietest operation.

The Amana NED7200TW has the good drying performance.  It is a large capacity dryer.  It has moisture sensor that saves you energy.  It has a reversible door.

The GE DPSE810EGWT has a solid feature set.  It is a good value.  The large capacity dryer holds many clothes.  This has 20 drying cycles including sanatizing.

The Samsung DV448AEW  is the last dryer.  It has a steam cycle that reduces wrinkles.  It has a very large capacity.  It also has five temperature levels.  Also has a moisture sensor that saves energy.
