Revol wireless offers a variety of pre-paid plans although I could not find any of their plans for text messaging only. In fact I cannot find any cell phones for text only. The Motorola Trac phone that is on http://www.Amazon.com is an excellent price. It is a prepaid minute cell phone and also has text messaging available. The nice thing is that with prepaid phones you can get only the minutes that you will need and texting is included.
AT&T.com also offers prepaid cell phones with texting options. Hope this helps.
