Where can I find strong scented candles?

Yankee Candle Co. has extremely strong scented candles, but they can be a bit head-achey (at least when I walk by the acutal store). But I'm sure that one candle from there would be enjoyable. For a strong scent that doesn't fade away, I'd recommend staying away from candles having anything to do with "after rain," "green tea infusion" or "fresh cotton" and that sort of light, airy stuff. Stick with candles that have tones of Amber, Bergamot, Cedar or Sandlewood (like perfumes do). Basically, stay away from floral scents and gravitate towards woody, spicy scents. My absolute favorite candles can be found at Anthropologie, however, they tend to be pricey (but oh-so-worth-it). If you just can't see spending much over $10 dollars on a candle, I'd take note of the undertones of the more expensive "designer" candles and find a cheap knock-off with a similar scent. Reed Diffusers are another alternative to candles; a stronger scent without a flame!
