Right now i have the first enV. and its time for a new phone i guess. i was debating on which phone to get i have narrowed it down to the New EnV Touch New EnV 3 EnV 2 or the New alias 2. Which phone would be the best one to get. i love to text and i talk

I liked my EnV2 better than the 1 They are the same for the most part. The EnV2 isn't as loud or the vibration isn't near as long as the 1. They both had good battery life . I don't remember on my EnV1 being able to look from the outside and see yourself when taking a pic like on the 2. Also the 2 does have allot more memory. The thing I don't like about the EnV2 also is the fact that when I talk on it it sounds like it cuts in and out almost like you have another call, but you don't. I have taken it in to Verizon and they said nothing was wrong with it. My best friend has the EnV Touch and loves it.
Everything about it is great - it is user friendly, touch screen is great, keypad is great for texting, you can set texts to a "chat" type look similar to the iPhone including pictures for yourself and the person you are texting with, the camera has great quality + flash, the sound is clear for ringtones and music, and it has really cool games! Also the internet is great; websites look awesome and you can zoom in and out on them; it can even view Flash websites which the iPhone cannot do! Lastly, here are the pros and cons of the Samsung Alias:
PROs
*very stylish, slim design (can easily fit in your pocket)
*excellent call reception and quality
*full flip out QWERTY board, definitely a phone for a power texter (always a plus but check the cons)
*very durable phone..dropped it over and over and never had a problem with it.
*very clear speakerphone
*very loud, clear ringtones
*battery holds a good charge, even with heavy use (i could go 2-3 days without charging it, while texting and browsing like crazy and it would still be fine)

CONs
*the full QWERTY keyboard is great, but i found the buttons were a bit small (but you get used to it after awhile)
*near the end of having the phone it would randomly reboot itself on me..(cut off and cut back on)

Overall, I would definitely recommend the phone to anyone who likes a solid, durable phone. Good luck.
