Over the summer I saw a cute little vase in a small shop. It had a covered top with only a hole off to the side and reminded me much of a large smooth rock. It also had prongs inside it to hold small flower stems.

Hi, and welcome to IMshopping! I have seen these vases at various high end furnishing stores and at local venues such as art and craft shows. These vases would make some awesome home decor and will bring out the uniqueness in your style. I have found some of these vases that you are describing at a few online retailers.

The first one I found is located at Lighting Universe is a Granite Stone Vase, which is designed by Dale Tiffany. This gorgeous vase is made out of 100% pure Granite Stone and has a dimention of 10 inches in width and 4.5 inches in height. This is versitle with any decor in the home and sells for $100.00!

If youa re looking for something a little less expensive, then Target is the place for you. They have a Round Ceramic Vase in brown that would look great for the contemporary home. This comes with several great features such as:

Beautifully textured design

Lighter in weight than the Granite Stone Vase

Great for placing in Dried or Silk Flower arrangements

Easy to clean.

You can purchase this for $29.99 plus shipping!

If you want something that is truely unique, try the Fuze Sphere Vases from Chiasso.
The heavy metal alternative to bud-studded vases, or even glass paperweights, these substantial balls (made entirely of nuts, as in lug, or nuts and bolts) help round out the texture everywhere in your homeon contemporary bookshelves, modern tables and more. Industrial iron in a unique pattern.  These cost $44.00 for a set of 3.

I hope these help you with your shopping needs and thank you for visiting!
