On the RMDD3004 unit do I understand that it is capable (the lifting portion only) be mounted under the cooktop then duct to an external blower. The problem is my customer wants to have new cabinets made. The cook top cabinet to have pot pan drawers made under cooktop cabinet, so the space is already taken up. However, I understannd the lifting assembly must be direct below and align behind the back edge of the coork top in order for the filtering screen is directly behind the cooktop. If my customer has the depth of the cabinet enlargen, Then the drawers can be made say 16 inches deep, allow (possiblely) the space for the lifting assembly, then the additional depth of the cabinet (part of the peninsula) house the duct work out to th external blower? Drawing of actual size would help me. Thanks Eddie Palomo
