I want to buy a netbook. Please tell me the BEST model and brand around $300. Thank you so much.

The best model or brand for you depends on several things...how much ram you need, how big of a hard drive you're looking for, do you need things included like a DVD drive or webcam, etc. These are important things to think about because you want to be happy with your purchase and that your netbook does everything you need whether it will be for your personal use or business use.

With that said, let me provide you with some options to look at and also find you prices that are as close to $300 or maybe a little over.

In my opinion, Dell is always the best brand in my book. But I noticed in searching that most netbooks do not have a CD or DVD drive included. I do like the Dell Mini 10 because of its wide screen but the downside is it only has 120gb harddrive. The MSI has a bigger hardrive at 160gb with a built in webcam and per the reviews seems to hold a good charge with its lithium battery. 

Word of advice, you may want to consider paying a little more than $300 for a good netbook but it will be worth it to have the netbook you need to get the job done :).
