When ipods became popular my husband and I both got the brand name ipods. We loved the features and being able to carry our music with us everywhere, but the price was more then we wanted to spend for our kids to have their music. After some looking around I came across the Barbie mp3 player. I LOVE IT! It is the mp3 player that could! We found that it is easy to load, easy to recharge, and it comes with the Barbie online access for one year, for free. By the way - you can also change the clothes, hair and accessories on it. If Barbie really isn't your thing, then I would consider the Nextar MP3 players. It is a nice compact unit, with 1 GB of Memory.
