I can relate to what you are saying. If you are going to get a printer, why not get the best. The best printer on the market right now is the Epson Stylus NX515. This printer is great all across the board. It is an all-in-one . It makes a great sidekick on your desktop. The Epson has the fastest output speed and outstanding quality prints. I highly recommend it. You can also try the Canon Pixma MX330 and the Hp Color Laserjet CP2025N. Thank you for using IMshopping.

Hewlett Packard is always a great option, the quality is impeccable. But if you just need to print a few items a day or week, you can find some less expensive models out there that really get the job done as well.
I have always used HP, but when my current printer went bad I purchased 3-in-1 Lexmark printer. It works great for my everyday printing, faxing, and copying. Plus, it was about 30%-50% less than HP!! Which makes me happy because in this economy I love saving money.

Comment by FLMommy: This is my current model!! It work wonderfully, and the price awas great. We got it at Office Max
I favour HP. If you don't use it for a football and keep a dust cover on it, it will last years. While shopping around, watch the corelation between ink cartridge size and price. The newer the model, the pricier the cartridges.

Personally I would suggest http://www.Amazon.com. From there you can narrow the style, features and price of printer your looking for. What is great about Amazon is you can see what other consumers say about the product, whether it's a dud or not. Ahh, and the best thing is the competitive pricing. Many items sold on Amazon are priced way lower than the market value as you will have individuals and businesses all competing to sell their items.
Try brandsmart or walmat! They should have good prices and selection!
