Kids rock! says Rachael, and it seems the feeling is mutual. Young people number among her biggest fans. For them she has created a fabulous collection of age-specific recipes with a high cool factor. Who doesn't love Rachel Ray? This would be my pick Happy Cooking!

Baking with your children and be a fun and rewarding experience. I remeber leaning to bake with my mom and how enjoyable it was.
There is a great book by Abigail J. Dodge called Willlams Sonoma Kids Baking that can teach your kids a lot. It teaches them basic skills like being organized when cooking, how to peel fruit, and how to whip an egg. It also has recipes ranging from very easy to advanced. It is available from Amazon for $13.57 with free shipping.
For children aged 4-8 there is a very basic book called The Baking Book by Jane Bull that teaches safty skill for the kitchen and also 10 basic recipes and then add onto those recipies to show them how to add varity to there baking. There are nice photographs of the supplies and tools needed for each recipe. It is available from Barnes and Noble for $12.99.
If you want a book that has cooking included and is a little more advanced you might want to check out DK's Childrens Cookbook. It has many different tastes and flavors included in the recipies. Children who are using this book should be able to safely use a blender and food processor. It is available from Amazon for
