I'm looking for a laptop that has a good battery life. Somewhere between 4hrs or higher.?

Hi there, great question.  Having a laptop with a good battery life is important especially for work or if you're a student.  Most laptops have around 2-3 hours worth of battery life when you buy them, you could also buy a different battery that has more cells that will give you a few more hours of battery life.  Macbooks are well known for their battery life, could last a good 10 hours before you have to plug it in.  The only down side to the Macbook is that they are pretty pricey, costing more than the average laptop, they could range from $600 to $2000.  But they can be pretty slim and portable, with the battery life length that you want.  Also Macbooks are made by Apple so they do not run on Windows OS but the Mac OS, so if you're not used to the Mac OS it might take a little time to get used to. 
Another alternative is getting a Sony Vaio netbook, it's a tad pricey but it's pretty portable as well plus it runs on Windows.  Reviews say it gets around 8-9 hoursof batter life.  The netbook also comes in a variety of differnt colors.  Hope you find the laptop that works best for you.
