KitchenAid Trashcompactor Model KUCS03CTBL. Was wondering in the top panel (where the controls are) was plastic or the same ameterial as the rest on the front panel? Is it glossy or flat black?

The controls are in the top panel and there is also a toe bar that opens the container only 3" to 6" depending on the load.
