This doll has a fascinating history. Manufactured by Kenner in 1972, the original Blythe (now known as "vintage") was produced for only one year and then was retired because of poor sales. In 2000 she made a comeback in Japan and was almost an overnight sensation! The full size dolls range anywhere from $100  to over $200. These are replicas and new dolls are constantly being added to the line. I've found a cowgirl, "roaring read" and the site even has a list of some dolls that are "coming soon".

Have a great day and thank you for using IMshopping!
