Is TomTom better in price or is Garmin?

Between the two brands you listed Tom Tom is cheaper in price. I actually like Tom Tom alot better,I have used their gps system for awhile now and find them to be accurate and simple to use. Here are some products from both companies that I like and are inexpensive.

Both TomTom and Garmin on the Dell site both cost the same. Get the big picture and big features with Nuvi 265WT from Gramin® International. They are actually about the same in price. I have use both systems and I am a big fan of Garmin. The Tom Tom got me lost several times and it would say turn right ahead but not give me the street name. So I would constantly miss my turn and it would be rerouting all the time. The Garmin system however, does tell you exactly which street to turn on. There is never any confusion and it has always got me where I needed to go.

TomTom is a better price than Garmin. I bought a TomTom a few months ago and find it is very useful. I have a fried who has a Garmin, and I find it works the same. Both are great GPS systems that will help out on your travels.

The TomTom and the Garmin are very close in price however, the Garmin has been rated higher by customers. The TomTom median price is $179.00 whereas the Garmin is running around $249. Both offer the 4.3" full-color TFT-LCD touch screen with 480 x 272 resolution! They are so fun to use!
