is there a difference in the type of hooks for the beds. Size, shape, design? Is there a certain way to measure the bed to verify the size needed? i have a head & foot board but looking for the hook style rails and want to make sure to get the right type

I can not say for sure as we only sell the bedrails but i have not had any one send them back because they did not fit.
