I have a 3G and have not upgraded yet.

I would wait until the antenna issue is resolved and for other issues to be resolved before upgrading. One thing you can try is upgrade the firmware on the 3GS phone to 4. There are some features like threaded emails that is available in the upgrade.

I think the upgrade to iphone 4 gives you better UI, the camera and video conferencing function which are really cool
