If you have a WinCo nearby, they by far are the best at saving a lot of money and they offer name brand items.  Winco is currently located in California, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon & Utah but I am sure they will be expanding shortly. So keep an eye out.
The next best place is Wal Mart. They have been proven time & time again to be the low price leader. Because they are a buying power they have the ability to make deals on buying in huge amounts and pass the saving down to the consumer. Owned by the Wal Mart Corp is Sam's Club and you can find good deals there too but you will be buying in bulk.
When shopping WalMart, be sure to buy the Wal Mart brand items to save the most money.
