I'm trying to pick out a hard drive for my laptop and I don't know which is good to get .250GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm .320GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm .500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm so which one? I don't really know anything about hard drive

Since you mentioned 3 different hard drives, with all the same RPM hard drive speed -- The only varying factor is the size of the drive.
If you plan on storing a lot of data on your laptop or using a lot of programs, music, movies etc on it, then you'll want enough storage to last.
500gb is the most of course, then 320gb, 250gb and etc. The bigger the hard drive, the more it will cost -- but it's entirely up to you to decide.
