Im looking for baroque style bedroom decor at a small budget my bedding is maroon and tan

There are several ways to give your bedrom the look and feel of the era of King Louis XIV. First of all, for painting, if you have not done this yet, i would look for colors in a deep gold color or possibly a Maroon, whichever fits your specific taste.

Next, you would want to look for some prints that are in this specific fashion, as paintings from this era will run you in the tens of thousands of dollars. Especially if they are original paintings.

Pillows can and will add a nice touch to your bedding. Make sure that these also have shades of maroon, gold, and olive tones. Embroidered would look best for this type of look.

The best way to incorporate some baroque style into your existing bedding is through the colors you have by adding curtains that will go well with them.  Also the art you place on the walls you can check consignment shops for some really inexpensive but nice framed art. 

For pillows to add some nice colors you can get the pillows and add fabric in the colors you need or check out Marshalls for some inexpensive throw pillows. I would also check their clearance sections out for lamps.  If you like the lamps but not the color you could always spray paint the lamp in gold to compliment your baroque atmosphere. 

To compliment your bedspread if you haven't painted the room yet I would think of something in the gold family.

You can also look at anitque shops in your area, but depending on the quality and condition of the furniture, it may cost you alot more than purchasing the same style on the internet or local furniture shop new.
