All laptops are good. I personally purchase HP products for their excellent customer service and warranties. I have heard Dell will charge for shipping if you have an issue even if it is under warranty. Toshiba does not include the power cord in their warranties. If you have a good warranty no matter what happens to the laptop it will be covered. Hp charges shipping for some models but not for others, you can renew your warranty every year and the power cord is included. Staples sometimes offeres 4 years of warranty at a deep discount. If you get a warranty that you know includes shipping, the power cord and accidental your laptop will last forever. You can call HP and ask which models would be best for your personal needs and which models have shipping included. HP will charge you more than if you buy the same model at Best Buy, I learned this the hard way, but the warranty is the same no matter where you purchase. My advice: Find a laptop that suits your needs with the best warranty option available. have fun!

Hi, and welcome to IMshopping! I have owned a lot of laptops in my time, including Dell and found that these are not up to par with anyones computing needs. My preferences for computers are:

Acer Aspire Series

HP Pavillion Series

Lenovo Think Pad Series

Each of these, work great for a variety of things. Now the next question is what you plan on using your computer for. I would go from there and find a laptop that would fit your specific needs. Here are some computers that you might enjoy and thank you for choosing IMshopping!
