I'm in the market for a laptop but I don't know where to start with. I looked at the Dell site but their selection sucks so now I want to know where I can find a site that looks at a whole bunch of brands to find what I'm looking for.

http://tigerdirect.com is a great site for laptop computers. They have several different brands and the prices are fairly descent. They are a great company and I highly recommend them. They also have a great selection of pc parts, overstocked items,accessories and much more.

I would suggest checking out Nextag & Amazon for a variety of laptops to check out.  I like to comparison shop for big ticket items and nextag is a very good site to do this. You can narrow the search on the left side by price point, brand or size of laptop. ; )

You can always go back to the official sites to see if better priced.
