Oily skin can be tricky to clean- something with moisturizers makes it worse, "normal skin" cleansers don't break up the oil, and those made for oily skin can be really harsh and dry you out.  What you want to find is something that will kind of even everything out.  There are literally hundreds upon hundreds soaps, washes, scrubs, wipes, etc out there, but to be honest, the best ones are the most simple.  You don't NEED special "bursting beads", "fruit infused" anything, or special scrubbies.  All you gotta do is get clean, not have a circus in your pores lol!  And it doesn't need to cost you an arm and a leg- just because something is sold behind a counter at a fancy department store means it's better.  I suggest the following (products added below):

Boots Expert Anti-Blemish Clensing Foam is surprisingly gentle yet cuts oil and leaves your skin soft.  You can find Boots at most Target stores.

Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar cleans very well without many additives, but can be a little TOO gentle for some people.  You can find it nearly everywhere- from Walmart to grocery stores.

Grandpa's Refreshing Witch Hazel soap is fantastic, but hard to find in stores- I almost always have to buy it online.  But it's worth it in my opinion: witch hazel is nature's BEST oil fighter and cleaner out there, and it leaves your skin soooo cool and clean feeling.

Good luck, and remember: simpler is better!

Moisturizers become especially important if you are using drying acne treatments such as Retin-A, Accutane, or benzoyl peroxide. Using a daily moisturizer will help ease the uncomfortable dryness, peeling, and flaking that can be caused by many acne medications.  Almay is a great product with the best price.

Almay Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin:  $6.99 @ http://www.amazon.com

  • This Moisturizer is infused with skin-renewing cucumber, marine extracts, cotton nectar and Pro-vitamin B.
  • Antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E. Skin feels smooth, hydrated and more supple than ever.

  • Moisturizer for Dry Skin with Grape Seed & SPF 15, 4-Ounce PackageComplete your skincare routine with a soothing boost of hydration.
Clinique Pore Minimizer T-Zone - multi-tasking oil-free gel controls oil and shine all day. Mattes the T-zone area; reduces the look of pores.  Leaves a velvety soft natural fiinish.  Can be worn under or over makeup.

Oil Refiner by Origins:

Nature’s next generation of oil-foilers keep skin super-clean without being mean. Phlorogine (from seaweed) swiftly stops excess oils from welling up on skins’ surface. Tourmaline disperses trapped dirt and debris. Salvia cools and refreshes. And White China Clay leaves a poreless matte finish that feels fresh for hours. Of course, less oil can lessen the likelihood of breakouts and blackheads. Used regularly, overall oiliness subsides and stabilizes.
