Hey there! According to many forums I have looked through, Sprint's best texting phone for 2010 is the SANYO Incognito. I have enclosed the photo and price for you. Thank you for choosing imshopping.
Price: $219.99

It also comes with really great accessories!

Kyocera Strobe because it has a great QWERTY keyboard or the LG Banter or LG Tritan.
Hey there! I'm a big texter too and I recently purchased a Samsung Impression. This model is only available through ATT, but Sprint has a similar version called the Samsung Moment. It's such a great phone! One reason I really love it is that it has a touchscreen, as well as a slide out full QWERTY keyboard. The screen is really accurate as well, so I can text on it just as easily as on the keyboard. You can get the Samsung Moment from Sprint for $180 with a plan renewal, but if you buy it new it's going to cost you quite a bit. I found it on http://www.onsalecell.com for $389.
Another great phone that I really love (and have personally owned previously) is the Blackberry Curve. It's a really durable phone and has a lot of great features, since it's a smartphone. You can get the Blackberry curve from Sprint for $50 with a contract renewal, and you can get it from http://www.cellularstream.com for $210.
If you're looking for something a little less pricey, I'd go with the Samsung ACE. It's like the Curve but not technically a smartphone and a little less expensive at $30 from Sprint with renewal or $100 from Amazon, brand new. :o)
Hope these suggestions help you find the perfect phone to feed your texting addiction! (Don't worry, I have one too!) :oD
