Nurse Mates
are really the way to go. Their website lists all their styles, but sites like http://www.ShoeLine.com will let you sort by style and color and have the same selection. Oh! And ShoeLine is having a 20% off sale on Nurse Mates, plus free shipping! It's a good time to buy :)

They have some seriously stylin' shoes, like these shiney red ones for $54.36. And they all have that cute little heart on them!

I'm loving these black mary janes - they are a new item and $64.95 at ShoeLine.

Good luck!

I was a nurse too and you definately do not want to skrimp on good shoes. I get the whole not wanting to wear "nurse shoes" Thankfully the industry has really caught on to cute sneaker type nursing shoes.
Thiongs you want: slip resistent, washable, comfort. Consider putting inserts into your shoes are well to pad your feet a little.
By the way, congratualtions for getting an early start on a great career!

The "Savannah" slip resistant sneaker features leather with a stain resistant finish. Ultra light weight EVA sole with aggressive lug tread and slip resistant rubber patches. The removable contoured foot bed cradles the foot for comfort.

I agree nursing shoe's are not cool at all. However, after a long day's work, they will save your feet! An alternative that a lot of nurses are wearing today are crocs. They are more stylish and almost as comfortable as tradition nurses shoes. Best of luck!
