The HP printer I found is a good bargain priced printer. HP also makes some higher end models, so it really depends on your wants/needs.

It's not necessary to have a Canon printer if you have a Canon camera. If you'll be connecting your printer directly to your computer to print your pictures from the hard drive, it doesn't really matter what type of camera & printers you are using. Most of my cameras have been Canon, so I am a little partial to that maker when it comes to my digital photos. Really a personal preference - kind of like being a PC person or a MAC person!

I have attached some info on a couple of HP printers that may interest you. The first is a mid-priced Photosmart B8550 Inkjet. The second is an HP Photosmart 8750, a higher priced model that will give you more professional prints.

I hope this information helps! Feel free to submit another question if you need further clarification - I'm happy to guide you through the process!

Digital photo printers can transform your brilliant digital photos into high quality, professional looking prints. Digital printers have increased in popularity, and are pretty affordable. They are extremely easy to use, so don't worry if you aren't tech savvy!

The first thing you want to consider is if the printer will work with your camera. You can choose a printer that connects directly to your camera via a proprietary cable, or you can attach the printer to your computer & print from the hard drive.

The Kodak Easyshare system is probably the most user friendly system on the market. It features "one-touch" printing and can be used with or without your computer.

The Canon PIXMA IP4600 Photo Printer is my personal choice. I own Canon cameras and the quality and features are outstanding. This particular model has great reviews.

The HP Photosmart D5460 Printer is a good bargain priced printer. If you're not looking for all the bells and whistles of the higher end models, this printer would be a good choice.

Sorry my mistake. HP'are good too. No advantage using a canon printer to print a photo taken by a canon camera. i would say your budget is only a limitation when buying a photo printer. are you a casual user or even more? Some printers run upto 400-500 USD.

Canon and Epson are really good these days. Some of them are Wi-Fi enabled making then wireless. and as everyone know catridges are expensive. if you have a budget then that would be a problem.
