I would like to record myself singing and put it on discs but what kind of microphone would i need that would just plug it into the computer?

There are microphones made specifically for computers. You can buy PC microphones at common department stores like Target and Wal-Mart, or you can find them at electronics and computer stores.
Hi there. I have chosen a from mics for you down below. They sure can be expensive. I tried to pick ones that are a little lower in price. I would recommend Samson USB Condenser Microphone.
