I want the biggest allowable (for the major airlines) carry-on, the biggest allowable upright (both with wheels), possibly a garment bag (not required), & a great tote. I want a color but not one that is going to show a lot of airline travel dirt.

It's hard to tell what size to suggest since most airliens have different guidelines. We sell 28" - 29" uprights and 20"22" carry-on size. You can have a look here:
